Jess Marais Weaving

This was a brand identity project for a weaver and basket maker. The project included custom logos, typeface selection and colour selections that could be used in print and digital media. She needed to print labels and tags to attach to her baskets and weavings, provide business cards and potentially create product labels in the future. I was inspired by technical weaving imagery and her favourite colours of green and pink and built a modern, minimal aesthetic for the brand, a style that she also displays in her craft. The goal was to build an identity that links modernity to a traditional craft practice.
